Your questions answered

Everybody always has lots of questions about dental implants... from how safe is it to when can I start eating again? And lots of other concerns in between!

We have answered all those questions many times – and most of them are here. But if there are any concerns we haven't addressed, just speak to one of our helpful team when you call +966 54 415 0114 and they'll be able to reassure you.

'Fixed teeth in a day' is the easiest, quickest and most practical way to receive a full arch of natural looking, non-removable replacement teeth. They allow you to eat easily and they fit securely. They are secured with four - six implants, which are carefully and safely positioned in your lower or upper jaw.

Some insurance companies do offer partial reimbursement. It's best to speak directly with your provider.

Many patients have been smokers. There is a slightly increased risk of complications with active smokers: this will be discussed with you during your consultation.

Health is far more of a factor than age. If you're healthy enough to have a tooth extracted, you're probably healthy enough to receive dental implants. Implant treatment may not be recommended for patients suffering from some chronic illnesses. During the complementary consultation, we would always review your dental and medical history to ensure your complete safety.

Very much like your own teeth - they certainly don't rub or create sore spots, slip or fall out as is common with dentures. One difference you will notice if you have had dentures is that you can fully taste and enjoy your food because the roof of your mouth is not covered. "Fixed teeth in a Day" teeth don’t come out at night and don't need special cleaning. You can eat whatever you like without a problem. And, of course, you can smile naturally - knowing your teeth look and feel real.

We recommend a softer diet for the first few weeks following the procedure - and you will have your new smile immediately! You will be eating, laughing, smiling and enjoying life as if you just grew a brand new set of natural teeth.

The fixed teeth in a day procedure is carried out under sedation. Afterwards, our patients typically report far less discomfort and a much quicker healing time than they expected. Pain relievers are usually needed for two or three days; after that, patients are usually pain-free.

A dental implant is a replacement tooth root. It is a small titanium screw that replaces a tooth in the bone. A single implant may support a single crown or several implants may help replace multiple or even all your teeth.

Your tooth roots stimulate the jawbone keeping your teeth in place. Without tooth roots the jawbone will shrink or dissolve. This is the reason many people have dentures that fit well at first and later get loose. In fact, the denture didn't get loose, the jawbone actually got thinner. Dental implants will stop the jawbone from shrinking by stimulating the bone again just like a tooth root.

We use the latest generation of dental implants with specially treated surfaces and improved thread designs, as well as new proven techniques to achieve much greater stability from the outset. This means the implant can be used immediately so it is not necessary to wait for as long as three months whilst implant fuses with your bone, a process known as osseo-integration.
